Wow! It’s been almost 3 months since I posted last. Life has been busy and while I have written a post or two in my head I haven’t gotten around to actually writing them.

Things are still moving forward with K. She only has about 7 weeks to go!! It’s mind boggling to think that we will have a little one soon. We have been spending a lot of time nesting. Our weekends have been filled with cleaning, rearranging, and preparing our home to welcome our baby. Many people have asked about a baby shower, we really appreciate that! We are waiting until after we get home from the hospital to do something.

I have been lucky enough to go to a few of K’s appointments in the past few months. It is such am honor to get to walk alongside her on this journey. I was even able to be in the room when we found out the gender. IT’S A BOY!! We are beyond excited to love this little guy!!

K is healthy and has the cutest baby bump! She has had a tough few months with the sudden and unexpected passing of her mom in May. It was a shock to us all and we ask that you pray for K and her two brothers. We had the joy of getting to meet K’s mom and could see where K gets her spunk from.

This past weekend K came to Atlanta and we had such a fun day with her. We went to the aquarium and got hibachi for lunch. Seeing K smile, laugh, and marvel at all the creatures was a memory we will cherish. And our little man was there too!!

I will try and update this again before he arrives. We would really appreciate your prayers during this next month and a half. Our lives are about to change in a big way and we can only prepare so much. I keep asking Josh if we are ready for this and his reply is always, “As ready as we will ever be.” Thank you for your love and support!
